Cognizant Community Service
This is where we communicate in reference to our “Cognizant Community Service” group. The CCS is a volunteer group that finds worthy causes to devote our time and energy.
We are looking for non-profits that encompass these three areas:
#1) Dear to our hearts, #2) Essential to the community, #3) Worthy of our support.
These causes should be under the headings of: education, art, music, shelter, amnesty, clean energy, community gardens, animal rescue, elderly care, and neighborhood beatification.
If you know of a cause that fits within the designations above, or one that may occupy another heading, please comment below. AND if you are interested in joining our wonderful group of volunteers, please comment below. Larry Minsky, our team leader. will contact you ASAP.

Hi Larry, I am a going to be taking the Intro Meditation Class,and I am also interested in learning about the activities of your community service group. Can you let me know what the group is currently engaged in? Thanks!
TO ALL MEMBERS FOLLOWING IS KIDS IN DISTESS EVENT FEB 25
9am-1pm Physically fit volunteers to assist with event set up including table and chairs and set decorations, must be capable of lifting 20 lbs.
1pm-5pm Assist with event coordination and event break down-including carnival games, concessions, moving tables, chairs and set decorations. Physically fit volunteers must be capable of lifting 20 lbs.
If you wish to volunteer (must be at least 14 yrs. old) at this event, please go to http://www.kidvolunteers.kintera.org and look on the left handside of this web page to Volunteer Opportunity Details to review the shifts and duties and then click on Volunteer Registration to sign up. Sign up for the shift you want (am,pm or both). Get your friends to sign up too and it will be a fun filled day in the park
